Counseling in Bellingham, WA, and Whatcom County
Welcome to GracePoint Counseling,
Embracing Grace.
A safe space right from your home.
My Practice
At GracePoint Counseling, I am deeply committed to offering you more than just a listening ear—I offer a space where judgment falls away and grace steps in. As a counselor serving Bellingham and Whatcom County, you are not measured by your mistakes, your past, or your pain. You are met with compassion, honesty, and a belief in your capacity to grow.
I believe that grace is not just a concept—it’s a powerful force in healing. Grace allows you to stop fighting yourself. It softens the harsh inner critic and opens the door to self-acceptance. With grace, you can begin to move through anxiety, relational pain, and past wounds—not by ignoring them, but by facing them with courage and kindness.
Grace is the gentle reminder that being human means being imperfect—not just in the world around you, but within yourself too. It invites you to let go of the pressure to always have it together and instead show up as you truly are.
Grace allows you to meet yourself with kindness, not criticism. It creates space for you to embrace your flaws, your strengths, your struggles, and your growth. In doing so, it opens the door to self-acceptance—the kind that feels peaceful and real, not forced.
When you begin to love yourself with grace, you naturally find more room to love others with compassion and understanding. Through this work, a deeper and more lasting sense of peace can begin to take root.
My goal is to walk with you on a path where healing is possible, self-acceptance is nurtured, and your story is honored—just as it is.
My Approach
My approach to counseling draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), attachment-based work, and Adlerian principles—all of which help us understand how your thoughts, relationships, and early experiences shape who you are today.
I also believe that true mental health goes beyond any single theory. That’s why I take a holistic view of wellness—one that considers your emotional, relational, spiritual, medical, and behavioral needs. When we look at the whole person—not just the symptoms—we create space for deeper healing and lasting change.
Whether you are seeking anxiety therapy, trauma counseling, or couples counseling in Bellingham, WA, our work together will focus on understanding patterns, building insight, and creating meaningful, sustainable change.
Counseling is not one-size-fits-all. The approach we take will not only reflect my clinical training but will also honor you—your unique story, strengths, and goals. Together, we will find a path that feels supportive, authentic, and effective for you.
